Solstice Sheep Owner Victoria in a field on contract holding a lamb

About Solstice Sheep | Victoria Parente Regenerative Grazier

I’m Victoria Parente, the proud owner of a residential grazing business that’s as much a passion project as it is a profession. My journey to this work has been shaped by a blend of curiosity, hands-on experience, and a deep commitment to sustainability. With a background in business management and psychology, I’ve always been fascinated by how people, systems, and the environment connect. That curiosity eventually led me to the land, where I discovered my passion for regenerative grazing and its transformative potential for both people and the planet.

My foundation in this field was built during my time with Bunchgrass Grazing, a well-established, large-acreage grazing business here on the Central Coast. Under the guidance of Nic Moss — the owner, grazier, and head shepherd — I gained invaluable experience managing a flock of 120-160 sheep. From animal husbandry to learning about native and invasive flora, this role gave me a deeper understanding of the delicate balance required to steward the land effectively. I assisted with everything from day-to-day flock management to seasonal tasks like shearing and animal processing. These experiences sparked my interest in starting my own small flock, a journey I’ve now begun as I work toward expanding my role in this field.

What drives my work is the incredible power of using animals to naturally restore the land. Targeted grazing isn’t just about clearing brush; it’s about improving soil health, supporting local ecosystems, and creating a more sustainable approach to land management. Every aspect of this work — from fostering healthier landscapes to addressing wildfire risks — is rooted in a commitment to the community and the environment.

Today, I’m proud to offer a service that blends practical solutions with purpose. Whether working with clients, tending to my flock, or collaborating with fellow land stewards, I’m motivated by the belief that regenerative grazing has the power to heal the land and create a brighter, more resilient future for us all.
